Nelson is a handsome black and white Siberian Husky with big baby blue eyes and a fun-loving grin. He is approximately 3 years old and everyone is his best friend. Somehow Nelson lost his way and his family. He found himself being cared for by our friends at the local shelter. Nelson was confused and tense at the shelter, so they felt it best for Nelson to come to rescue where we could work with him to help him gain confidence. It wasn't long at all before Nelson was welcoming the company of both dogs and people. His favorite pastimes are romping with the pups and going for nice long walks. His past is a mystery, but we did learn that he is a little possessive of his food at dinner time. He politely accepts his dinner bowl, however, wants to be left alone while he eats. For this reason, we feel it would be best for Nelson to be placed in a home that has no small children. He does take treats gently from our hands. Nelson is quickly becoming a happy boy and we enjoy his company. If you are looking for a true blue friend to be at your side, Nelson may be the choice for you! All of our dogs are fostered in private homes throughout the tri-state area and are shown to approved applicants (within a 100 mile radius of Philadelphia, PA) by appointment only.
